Dustin’s been working with Flex since its beta days. In 2005, he led the team that built one of the earliest enterprise-scale Flex applications for Dorado, an SaaS enterprise software provider, which enabled mortgage companies to cut the loan process from a month to 10 days. The Dorado project earned them the Adobe Max Award in 2006.

While Dustin is a Scrum Master for Agile, holds the Flex Ace Certification, and is a former Adobe Consultant, he credits his success to studying film, video and rich media at the Academy of Art. That experience leads him to put design first, using technology to support it and working around limitations as needed.

When he’s not in front of a computer, you can find Dustin welding and doing metal work, or as he puts it, “building things that you can actually touch when the power goes out”.
