Douglas Knudsen, Senior Software Engineer, has developed web-based technology for more than ten years. He enjoys working with Adobe products such as Flex, Flash Platform, and ColdFusion as well as surrounding database technologies such as Java and AJAX. He currently uses Flex for RIA development, and works with Fortune 500 companies as well as startups.
Previously employed by Alltel Communications, Doug built Intranet applications for the Rapid Response Team’s sales force, customer service, and engineering groups. He used ColdFusion with an Oracle backend and Flex- or HTML-based UIs. He holds advanced certification in ColdFusion and Flex development, works with any tech tools available, and is presently developing his skills in Java, MySQL, Hibernate, and Ant.
Doug is based in the Atlanta area and is an author, developer, and family man.
