Practice: User Experience
Title: Director, Experience Innovation
Joe Salowitz is the Director of Experience Innovation at Universal Mind, where he helps organizations navigate the complexities of digital transformation. He is also a writer and a speaker on topics pertaining to user experience, digital strategy and lean-agile thinking.
Joe has built an impressive portfolio in his relatively short career, consisting of a wide range of clients, from Fortune 100 and 500 companies like Whirlpool, Hitachi, Wyndham Worldwide, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Oracle, and Scholastic to cultural icons like Herman Miller, Capitol Records, University of Washington, Ace Hardware, and Meijer.
Today, he uses his strategic web, mobile, IoT and cross-platform experience to help executives and practitioners in client businesses envision their company’s digital potential and the tactical roadmap necessary to achieve maturity in key areas of digital value delivery, lean-agile processes, innovation, customer experience, data management, culture, and operations.
Outside of work, Joe spends his time being his wife’s biggest fan. He loves catching up over coffee or a brew with friends and/or interesting people. Staying active is a necessity for him. If you can catch up to him, you’ll probably find him playing soccer, hockey, or rugby, or on a hike or bike ride, all done while envisioning and planning the “next big thing.” He’s also a recovering home-project addict.
