Pearson Education: Jazz

Pearson Education: Jazz

The global leader in education publishing, Pearson Education provides hundreds of thousands of educators with a range of products, including curriculum materials and complementary multimedia assets, via brands such as Prentice Hall, Addison Wesley, and PowerSchool.

Instructors who subscribe to Pearson courses have access to a phenomenal depth of information, resulting in hours spent wading through discs to prepare courses, often ultimately resorting to web searches or simply wading through CDs during class as students wait. Pearson envisioned a way to enable instructors to access all this information online in an easily searchable library with an intuitive interface.

Pearson partnered with Universal Mind to develop Jazz, an online tool that delivers immediate access to the thousands of instructional resources associated with Pearson’s courses. Instructors get vastly easier access to the applicable instructional materials and supplemental content. And, they can present them in the classroom with just a few clicks — there’s no need to pull assets into presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint.

As a result, Pearson reduces the cost of updating and delivering instructional resources while increasing the speed at which they can offer instructors the latest assets.
