Project Summary

DISH Network was looking to improve their sales efficiencies and streamline their sales processes. Historically, field reps used paper forms to capture leads and take customers through the ordering process. DISH approached Universal Mind to build a sales platform that would replace paper forms with tablet apps. Working ahead of Adobe’s release schedule, we developed the app and then trained their developers on the new technologies, fully arming them with the ability to update the app with new service and pricing options. The new platform fully integrates with their backend systems, and supports a matrix of pricing options based on entertainment packages, equipment needs, and number of TVs using the service, replicating pricing calculations typically done on the fly. It captures and transmits legally accepted signatures, and is available on both the iPad and Motorola Xoom tablets.
