Project Summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is a retailers’ cooperative with over 4,600 locations and over $13 billion in retail hardware sales annually. Ace wanted to create a new section on their website, hoping to drive new sales and increase online sales. They approached our team to design, customize, populate and deploy a CMS solution for their Tips & Advice section. They needed a system that would improve speed and ease for updating the content, to provide more overall control over that content, to have less dependence on current internal web infrastructure approval and publish process, and to be able to internally support faster release cycles.

We designed the section to provide users clear and ambiguous navigation, intuitive interfaces that help users find solutions, quick links to products that can assist them in completing projects, and access to inspirational ideas for users. With the new site and tool launched, Ace’s marketing team is able to create fresh content quickly and cost effectively without the need for additional staff or training.
