Specializing in the marriage of traditional product design principles with digital-life interactions, Espen Tuft believes that human-centered design thinking is intrinsic to the success of creating meaningful and engaging digital experiences. A pioneer in the interactive industry, he has been leading teams in cutting-edge projects in the fields of motion graphics and experience design. Espen often advises clients on their solutions strategy exercises, having led digital strategy for Time Warner Cable, and a full Customer Experience strategy for nCircle, among others.
Espen previously was a founding Partner and Creative Director of Tuft+Co., a digital agency creating innovative and engaging human-centered experiences for world class brands for clients such as Adobe Systems, NBC, Cisco, Autodesk, and Time Warner. Prior to Tuft+Co., Espen was the Senior Art Director at Macromedia, Inc, and spearheaded the Web Innovation Group at Nortel Networks with clients such as the Dallas Cowboys and Indy Racing League. His work has been recognized by Communication Arts magazine, SXSW, Adobe Magazine, USA Today and the New York Times, among others.
Espen holds a Sociology degree from Universitetet i Oslo in Norway, and worked as a photojournalist in Europe. He currently resides with his wife and son in San Francisco, California.
