Universal Mind Sponsors Mobile Monday Grand Rapids
We believe that digital can improve lives. We also believe in creating profound partnerships to create a better world. Thus, the decision to sponsor and get involved with Mobile Monday Grand Rapids was an easy one for us.
Mobile Monday Grand Rapids, a chapter of Mobile Monday Michigan (which is a subsidiary of the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan), is a networking/education organization that encourages innovation within the connected tech sector that includes mobile and wireless technologies of all types, and helps local companies participate in connected tech initiatives.
“Mobile Monday Grand Rapids and MTAM are very pleased to welcome Universal Mind as a sponsor for the chapter. We look forward to working with the firm to build increased awareness of, and engagement with, connected technologies in the Grand Rapids market as a result of this partnership,” said local Mobile Monday Grand Rapids organizer Al Juarez, director of Business Development for RX Networks.
To kick things off, we will be hosting the November and December Mobile Monday Grand Rapids events. Our first event will take place on November 21, at 5:30pm, and will focus on Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This event will feature a discussion panel made up of leading Universal Mind trained and certified Scaled Agilists, including Matt Kortering, UX Specialist, and Erik Loehfelm, Universal Mind’s Chief Experience Officer.
“Frameworks such as SAFe have become the standard best practice in today’s agile and lean design technology solutions,” said Loehfelm. “They aren’t only beneficial for teams of developers, they help to manage the design pipeline, organize innovation initiatives, streamline communication channels and provide for a more efficient financing model. Simply stated, SAFe is the ‘right way’ to build scalable, digital solutions.”
The second event, titled “Year in Review, What to Look For in 2017”, is set for Dec. 12, at 5:30 p.m. Both events will be located at our Grand Rapids office, 125 Ottawa Ave. Suite 270.
If you’ll be in Grand Rapids on one or both of these dates, please join us! These events are free to attend (but advance reservations via Meetup are required). Reservations can be made here. (Refreshments will be served at both events!)
We hope to see you there!
