How can we help?

Design? Check. Strategy? Check. Bulletproof code? Check! People who can manage it in an agile and efficient manner? Check. Someone to help you create your next big product? Of course.

Universal Mind Sponsoring the Rocky Mountain CitySummit

On Thursday, October 6, the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel will play host to the Rocky Mountain CitySummit. The event will focus on The City of the Future: Connections, Design, Experience, which aligns with Universal Mind’s values and solutions.

Beginning at 7:30 am, this day-long, invitation-only event will provide a look into The City of the Future with inspirational presentations, panel discussions and break-out sessions focused on connection, experience and design.

Produced by the Downtown Denver Partnership, over 600 high-level executives, elected officials and civic leaders from Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming will discuss the most forward-thinking ideas impacting the future of our cities.

Presenting on behalf of Universal Mind, CEO and President Brett Cortese will participate in a panel entitled The Smart City: Using Information and Communication Technology to Improve the Quality of Life during the afternoon. Describing possibilities wrought of scalable, infrastructure solutions, Brett and his colleagues will address the many benefits of a Smart City and how technology, planning, public and private cohesion and the residential experience play a crucial role in the creation of a Smart City. Want to learn more about Smart Cities? Check out Universal Mind’s Smart Cities white paper.

Another goal of the Rocky Mountain CitySummit is to further lasting partnerships. One way we’re accomplishing this even before the event begins is through our partnership with the Dallas Innovation Alliance. Jennifer Sanders, Executive Director and Dallas Innovation Alliance Co-Founder will also serve on the The Smart City: Using Information and Communication Technology to Improve the Quality of Life panel. Having a presence in Dallas, Universal Mind has had the pleasure of sponsoring and working with Jennifer on Building a City of Innovation, a Dallas-based event held this past June to further Smart City dialogue.

Beginning at 1:10 pm, you definitely don’t want to miss their panel!

The Rocky Mountain CitySummit promises to engage and inspire both audience members and presenters. By investigating information and communication technology and the Internet of Things to manage how a city is ran, improving the quality of life and efficiency of services while meeting residents needs is imperative to developing a sustainable future.
