The firm’s name, Universal Mind, means that each one our consultants shares the knowledge and experience of the collective group — and that our total impact is greater than the combined contributions of its individual members. As a team, we have developed, and continue to enrich, a core knowledgebase of best practices for building, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex, high-performance web applications.

Before coming here, many of us — like CTO, Tom Link and President Brett Cortese — had long and successful careers at Macromedia. Others, like CEO, Todd Cieplinski, built solid Macromedia-focused consultancies in their own right and then opted for the challenges and rewards of a bigger, more diverse technology practice.

Brett was a member of the Macromedia Worldwide Professional Services Team where he worked around the globe to resolve clients’ mission-critical issues at breakneck speed. Tom came to Universal Mind after more than five years at Allaire and Macromedia. He was one of the founding members of Allaire's consulting team. At Macromedia, he worked onsite at over 100 customers to help plan, code, review, tune, and troubleshoot many of the world’s largest and most critical Macromedia applications.

Universal Mind is headquartered in Golden, Colorado and Westfield, Massachusetts and is organized as a distributed network of regionally based resources across the U.S. We work for clients worldwide.
